Name Shame Lame Game

Okay, to inject some sense of topicality, I am risking the wrath of the "old-timers" by starting what I hope will be the APPFN game to end all games.

The rules:

1. You must search the entire APFFN forum to find, in YOUR opinion, the lamest most pointless post...Ever!

__1a. You must quote the post in question. None of that, Oh, that stupid Sawdust Demon [just an example] thread..., etc.

2. One word/smiley/character posts don't count because they are, IMO, already too lame to mention.

3. No flaming if one of your posts is chosen as it is considered lame in the opinion of the nominator. Get over yourself.

4. Duplicates of the lamest post is allowed but may not be nominated by the same person.

5. Entire threads may also be nominated; please quote first post.

Now you know full well, ATalkingDread deleted the contents of most of his posts, so it's a bit academic...but I shall take your advice on board (pun intended).

ADDENDUM: ATH (A Talking Head aka Bu...nope, still can't finish it) posts are likely to be judged with derision, so do everyone a favour and leave them out. :o

Here's one for you...

I can't quote it because I had to delete it, but there was this one post where someone posted PAGES and PAGES from Das Kapital (it was in the "Post your favourite quote or maxim" thread)! This, needless to say, tied up people's Internet browsers for minutes on end, even if you had a fast connection!

That, because of its absolute inconvenience, has to be the lamest, most STUPID post we ever had here, that I ever had to see.
