I think that it's not Meddle that deseves the plaudits, but 'Echoes' alone. I'd say that OBC is their greatest LP achievement prior to DSotM

Hmmm... I really must listen to 'More' more often. I know it's a big fave down at Byron's pad, but it's just not one I revisit too regularly.

Saucerful and Meddle are 2 good albums, which deserve much respect. They are not as consistent tho as Dark Side. Each album has one excellent song. While More and OBC are filled with very very good songs.

Sorry, I meant one excellent song on Meddle and Saucerful. The rest are either good, mediocre, or poor. As for TDB, I have to go with High Hopes. I think it is excellent. As for the rest of that album, blah.
