| Best British Drummer I would go with the Loon Keith Moon, because he was loud, loud and well loud, not to mention he enjoyed destroying his drum set, he was the perfect fit for Pete Townsend, and well the man was funny as hell too.

| that is hilarious, something tells me he was drunk at the time, as was often the case with Moonie, i have no idea if really did hate aussies, maybe he had a bad experience with one? I figure this will be a close race between Moon and Bonham, and yes i realize that the Grateful Dead and the Almond Brothers did not have british drummers, but i ran out of options and well Ringo and Charlie Watts well you know . . .

| Hmmm... my favourite drummer isn't in the list, and he has to be Roger Taylor of Queen. Mostly because I really love the band and most of their albums. I dig his powerful, solemn style. And he's a good songwriter too. I'm in love with my car

| Okay now, when it comes to names of drummers, I'm really bad... Just a few that stand out to me though. Of course John Bonham. The drummer from Rush. Lars? Metallica drummer. |

| The Best british drummer is palmer from ELP. He's exellent! If it wasn't just closed to BRITISH drummers, I might choose Neil Peart to, though I think that carl Palmer is a bit better than Neil.

| I voted for Bonzo, but contrary to pop opinion I really love Nick Mason's work with Pink Floyd on the early albums (uptill and inclusive of Wish You Were Here). How can you guys say that he is not at all important to Pink Floyd? Am I the only one here who appreciated his fills and variations (pardon my drummer-illiterate vocabulary if those are the wrong words) in the early albums? But after those albums I agree that there's nothing special about his beats. |

| 3 votes for Mason... and 1 for Keith Moon...! ok, we're fans but, I mean, Mason in the 60s (and maybe later too) was just average.

| I voted for Keith Moon. Probably the most unique drummer I've ever seen. He's also my biggest drumming inspiration, followed by Nick Mason. |

| My faves in this list are Moon and Ginger baker, the latter being perhaps even more technically proficient (keep in mind that while most drummers were using double-bass drum kits he would make just as much noise and beats, if not even more, with single bass and single kick!), although Keith was really unbelievable in terms of energy, showtime and unpredictability. There's another musician who'd really deserve to be included and that is Stuart Copeland from the Police, he's such a natural... and one of the most versatile ever

| Speaking of Stewart Copeland, word is, he's the drummer for the reuniting Doors. With the lead singer of The Cult...(forget name). Pretty unique line up ay?! |
