Help me make a cool pf mix

Hey guys I have been thinking for a while of trying to compile a mixed cd of the creepiest Floyd songs every compiled. The type of creepy songs i am talking about are ones like Pow R toc h with just errie insturmentals and Roger and Syd just sheriking or saying wierd stuff really quitely, think of it as a Pink Floyd Halloween CD! my problem is that I don't know all their instrumentals just a few I will start off the list and if you could please just add songs that would be sweet, if you have any bootlegs or know where to get them from their days of playing freak outs at the UFO i am sure that would contain some creepy music too. Please help!

Pow R toc H
Careful with that Axe Eugene
interstellar overdrive

isn't "Come in number 51 your time is up" along the same lines? I am not sure i am too lazy to go check it out.

Several Species of Small Furray Animals Gathered Together in a Cave Grooving with a Pict: from UmmaGumma.

Come In Number 51... is just a remake of CWTAE, only very subtley different, but not by much.

I find Set the Controls... and Cirrus Minor on the slightly eerie side as well.

Actually Come In Number 51 is just another version of Careful With That Axe Eugene, and a pretty good one.

You might add to your list One Of These Days and maybe Quicksilver.

i'd say almost anything from the first album, and possibly the live Umma version of Astronomy Domine. not scary but i'd add Effervescing Elephant by Syd just for effect.

i am mostly looking for the creepy instrumental, but yes there are few from the first album that are perfect, does anyone have any good early roio's circa 1966-68 that they would have what i am looking for?

As it were, Several Species is creepier, as is Narrow Way Part 2 or 3 (can't recall)...also the weird drum parts in the middle of Grand Vizier.

From about the ages of 2 right up to 9, I used to make tapes of my favourite bands at the time, Queen + Beatles but the funny part was, I used to stare at the circular bits in the middle of a cassette tape go round and round and I used to be incredibly fascinated by that. I used to copy tapes or vinyls on to tape for the hell of it and make my own compilations of them (great fun). I have only just thought about starting again after this thread, obviously doing it on CD or minidisc now but it's kool to think you can make your dream album in original great sound quality!

Oh yeah, gotta add, I was going to get a new CD player for my bedroom because I don't like my current one and I have disconnected it all and connected it to my computer but as for the sound in my room, I am definately going to wait to get a DVD-Audio player because if DSOTM does come out on that, I will be getting one specially becuase DSOTM has been my fav album since the age of 9 and it WILL sound spectacular!
