| FAQ: Slow Internet connection? Try this... If you have a slow Internet connection, you might want to turn off user's signatures, avatars (the small pictures under every user's names) and/or image attachments. This should make the web pages quite faster. Of all of these, turning off the avatars should be the most effective for faster-loading. To change these options, click here to access the Change Options page in your Control Panel, and look for 'Thread View Options'.
