New Peter Gabriel CD

Has anyone heard the new Peter Gabriel CD? If so, how is it?

I was wondering the same. Is it honestly worth buying?

I just finished buying it at the music store...I'll listen to it tonight, and tommarow and tell you what I think! It sounds preety good so far..

amg gave it three out of five stars which means its ok. thats the only review of it i've read.

By the way, I'm getting front row tickets to see him here in California (well I'm going to be at the box office the second they are on sale, so probably front row) He's coming around in December--has anyone here seen him in concert? Is he worth seeing (the tickets are 120$ for front row, but if he's anything like the show's that I've seen then, it's worth 500$!)

Well the new CD, UP, is not for the weak at heart, it's preety dark..but it sounds great to me..

I heard "The Barry Williams show" on Conan O'Brien the other day. Gabriel still sounds good.

$18.99, ODV? You can get it for $13.49 at amazon, which is why I always order there. Free shipping if you order over $25(I'm not positive about this amount), as well.

I buy from amazon.com all of the time, but I didn't want to wait half a week for them to ship it over to me I couldn't wait to get the new CD! ..But I buy some rare PF, and other albums on amazon...It's great, cheap too!

I think Up is a truly excellent album. Music has depth, feeling and moments of sheer beauty. It's not lighthearted stuff, it's dark (as ODV2 pointed out) and it's not music for the radio or for MTV. You will need more than a couple of listenings to get it, but I think it's really really good.
