| I decided to start this thread cos I was inspired by recent events in my life. Last week Iwas in production with a theatre compnay that I am a member of. We were in major production and were working 13 hr days or more. Sometimes these hours take their toll on a person and so they did in the case of 8 young performers. It was the third day of such hard work and we were about to do the last run before opening night but not before our lunch break. We had been going to the same fish and chip shop for three days and were good for this guy's business. So we all went in, got our lunch and then went outside to sit under the umbrellas in the fresh air. Like I said before the lack of sleep and the fact that we were teenagers brough on the actions that followed. We found the umbrellas very fascinating and had discovered a way of making them higher or lower, we decided to go for the lower option, so much so that the umbrella covered all our heads. This action seemed to give us the dillusion that we couldn't be seen. We decided ( you could never tell we were Drama students could you?) that a little role paly was in place and started yelling domestic abuse at each other under the umbrella. We kicked each other abused each other, it really did seema likea huge domestic. Now the umbreall being lowered hindered our view of the things going on around us, including the fact that an angry shop keeper had apprached the table. It was only in the following moments that we realised what was going on. He lifted the umbrella, looked at us and sternly and angrily said "Take your rubbish and leave, NOW!" We naturally became silent, some not knowing wherther to laugh or cry, the man was scary afterall but the look on his face was comic. One thing we did know how to do however was run, and run we did. To make matters worse for us a number of us were wearing t-shirts bearing the company's name and logo. The Artistic director didn't mind for she is just as crazy as we are, our only problem was finding a place to have dinner. Now if anyone of you Floydians have stories about being kicked out of establishments please post them here, I would love to hear your great stories. cheers

| Re: Ever been kicked out? I got kicked out of 3 places in a row in Melbourne, one of which was a Chinese restaurant. Guess that'll be the last time that I slap the bottom of a champagne bottle like it contained red sauce. And I can't remember being in the other 2.

| Re: Ever been kicked out? I've never been kicked out of an eating establishment, but we once tried to convince a waiter to serve up a plate of bacon to two cops during their lunch break, on us, of course.
