I'm looking into putting both the who's online and the buddy list back into the main page. Might take a few days as it is a bit complicated, but eventually I'll get to it.

You can always check http://www.pinkfloydfan.net/online.php to see who's online (and who is doing what as well), in the meantime.

Yep, he is.

But why bother doing a restyling if everything from the old page is eventually put back?

I don't know much about computer programming, but I know there are sometimes scripts or code that you may never directly see...sometimes code can be streamlined so it takes fewer lines of code to do the same thing, for instance. Doing that will speed up a program--or a page, in this case.

Exactly. We were using a script which was VERY resource heavy on the server. Since I've been really annoyed with the site speed (meaning how long the server takes to serve the pages, as they are all dynamic - that is, the server has to create each page every time a user accesses it) and it's hard to find a good web host with a fast server for what we can afford, I'm doing all I can to make the site lighter on the server. Meaning, I'm trying to make the site faster for everyone. This new script we're using is very light compared to the old one - but it doesn't have the same features as the old one. So, slowly, I'm trying to integrate the old features into the new script. Since I'm not really a programmer, that can take a while sometimes.

Thanks for understanding!
