It's there. Find it.
LITTLE GEM! Dammit I must have listened to Chop Suey FIFTY THOUSAND damn times on the radio, because thats all the play around here. It's Fu@#ing pop to me. You might have too 'dig' for it wherever you live..but it's THROWN IN YOUR FACE here...most people LOVE it, I (along with several others) can't stand it.

Yes, where we live System Of A Down is the most popular thing around. But again, just because something is popular doesn't make it bad, Pink Floyd was/is popular too!
But, if I may, my opinion is that the guys can't play instruments well and thier lyrics are not really great, they basically scream in thier songs. And I will not buy one of thier albums, not until they impress me with something...IMO IMO IMO

Well, then.

Let me ask you a question...

Have you actually listened to the damn album? SAT DOWN with a clear mind and listened?

You will find it's some of the best music around these days.

Really.

Best music these days...hmm I doubt System Of A Down is better than Radiohead or Dream Theather, just my opinion though....hehehehehe. Like I said, I can't stand the screaming and the bad instruments, I could never like them, they would have to impress me on the radio before I bought an album...

Youngsteinbeck:

I can dig, I guess.

At least Radiohead is still making music... ahh, the knowledge of new Radiohead makes me happy.

SOAD may be popular, but that doesen't make them bad, like you said.

Additionally, they are very good live.

Wow, sorry for trying to make an honest recommendation.

Additionally, calm down, dude. It's not something to get worked up over.

Sometimes, it's good to look at some of the new stuff coming out instead of maybe focusing on older stuff.

:o....I didn't say that SOAD was bad, because they are popular. Hell, PF was extreamly popular...but I don't like them, because I just can't get over the screaming, jesus. They don't YELL, they SCREAM, some may find that that makes their music more emotional..I just feel any other emotion besides absolute disgust when I hear that.

I enjoy listening to to the following bands...

Radiohead
Coldplay
Dream Theatre
Travis
Oasis
Spocks Beard...and a few others that don't come to mind....I do listen to modern music! I just don't like a lot of it.....I don't like a lot of old music either...
