Incidentally, this:

... is what's really wrong with The Division Bell.

Up-Flop-Down Up-Flop-Down Up-Flop-Down is almost hypnotic, in the same way a lava lamp is.

Re: I don't see what the problem is with The Division Bell...

I quite like The Division Bell. It's one of my faves, and it was the third Floyd album I bought. I like it more than I like other albums, but I love all Floyd albums.

Cheers

Re: I don't see what the problem is with The Division Bell...

What has that picture got to with the Division Bell? Is it that the Division Bell doesn't have an attractive cover? Or that it's over too quickly (tHats a comment I could apply to all Floyd albums. They end too quickly)

Don't need one- however, I WAS trying to make a point- you just have to read between the lines. Quite seriously.

Cheers,

Mark

Could it be that in your opinion it promises much but is actually very disappointing because you don't see anything? All mouth and no trousers?

Or perhaps that Dave's Floyd is a tit-job?
