| days of our innocence Looking back in desperation to the days of our innocence The things we didn't know made us wonder why Sunset never darkened our spirits high Sunrise lit us up inside Recalling the sound moments of the past All we can do is wish To be the hero, to play the game Wanting to live dreams now declared certifiably insane We could turn it all around one day We don't have to sit around all day Run like your life depended on it Seeking, nothing we shall find Walk down to the park where we used to play with glee It's not the same as it used to be Why can't we turn back the hands of time? Why can't we stay eternally child? ------------ I know this poem sucks, but oh well. Inspired by "Remember a Day".

| Re: days of our innocence It doesn't suck at all. Quite nice actually. I've written a poem along similar lines but I can't remember exactly how it went. I'll have a look for it in the next day or two.
