We don't move on man! It's the music that lives! You dig?

I agree with you on that score, fixx. I know we should honour the dead and all that but we've got lives to lead, things to do.

Could anyone recommend me some beatles albums? I want to totally avoid the early 60s poppy crap. That's the main reason why i've always been turned off by them -- It was just recently that I found that they actually have good stuff.

I'm still deciding wether I should go see PAUL in concert, he is coming around to my town, but I'm not sure if he's worth seeing, especially for the OUTRAGEOUS price that he is charging. I mean okay, I understand that the guy is old, and he was in one of the most legendary rock bands of all time, but COME ON. 300$ is outrageous, I'd have to take 1/5 of my savings out of my bank-account for that.....and then YOUNGSTEINBECk would have to go too, so I'm not sure, because I haven't really heard that he's so great in concert either, and there are BETTER bands (well imo) who don't charge NEARLY as much, and don't even tell me that it's not the artist, that choose how much the tickets should cost, because Paul Mcartney himself probably decided on that outrageous price, anyway
I'll tell you if I go to the Concert or not

Yes it is! I'm seeing PETER GABRIEL for less than a THIRD of that Price!!!! third row by the way

And I'm catching YES (for the second time this year ) for less than 70$, Front Row on that one

And the worst part is..I really don't think PAUL is worth that kind of money--maybe if the ressurected some of the other members, but EVEN STILL! 300$ PER TICKET is outrageous, I'd end up spending 600$ dollars, because YOUNGSTEINBECK is probably too cheap to pay his own seat

Thats not true! I'm wouldn't go to that concert because I would not pay over 50$ to go see the Beatles, to me they are an AVERAGE band at most, and not worth so much money at all. I still CAN'T understand WHY they are so OVERRATED...

Hmm maybe because they created the genre that we all love? Don't get me wrong, they are still overrated as hell,

1. I'm not sad... I'm just mocking you, ODV.

2. The both of you haven't looked at the scores... millions of people the Beatles influenced. Take a look at your classic rock CDs, ODV.... at least half (if not three-quarters) of them were influenced by the Beatles in some way, shape, or form.

Open up your damned eyes!
