I just saw Bob in concert last week and he is so fantastic. He is also still making a statement as he sung Masters of War. What a great thing that he is still doing from 150-200 tour dates a year at 63!

Re: Bob Dylan Blues

the official story about that song -- at least i read it was the official story-- is that syd and david went to a dylan gig, and syd ended up writing the song right after the concert. he was 16 when he wrote it.

Re: Bob Dylan Blues

I saw in Entertainment Weekly that Rolling Stone names Bob Dylan's " Like A Rolling Stone" the greatest song of all time.

Re: Bob Dylan Blues

Dylan had 12 on the list including the no. 1. An interview with him will be broadcast on 60 minutes Dec. 5.

Re: Bob Dylan Blues

Isn't he too cranky to do an interview?

Re: Bob Dylan Blues

This is the first one in 19 years and is with Ed Bradley. It should be interesting to say the least.

Re: Bob Dylan Blues

I think the song is more about Syd than Bob.

Does Syd sing the harmonies, or could it be Dave?

Re: Bob Dylan Blues

Being a Dylan fan as well as a floyd/barett fan I can definately say it is my fave Syd song! The lyrics are funny and witty and made me laugh the first time I heard it
