Dave and Rog Vocals DSOM & Wall

I am responding to a previous post concerning whos vocals are on which songs on Dark Side and the Wall. Daves vocals are on every Dark Side song except Brain Damage/Eclipse, which are Rogers vocals with Dave singing in the background. Rick Wrights lyrics are in the background on Us and Them, and he sings the Chorus on time. On the Wall, Dave has much more vocal parts than most people think. Roger has all the vocals EXCEPT: Another Brick in the wall II( Dave is singing We dont need no education....), Mother ( Dave is singing the mothers parts, Hush now baby baby dont you cry), Goodbye Blue Sky( Dave has all vocals), Young Lust( Dave has all vocals), Hey You( Dave begins song, Roger doesnt sing until 'It was only fantasy'), Confortably Numb (Obvious to the most basic floyd fan), The Show Must Go On( Dave sings the whole song), Run Like Hell(obvious to those with ITAOT, Dave and Rog switch lines, really GOOD stuff), Waiting for the Worms( Dave sings lines such as,'Sitting in a Bunker here behind my wall', and 'perfect isolation, here beind the wall', Rog sings 'waiting for the worms to crawl' and all the microphone vocals. The Trial, Dave sings the judges parts" The evidence before the court is, in controvertible theres no need for the jury to retire..." And thats it my freinds, listen closely and it is very obvious when Dave is singing and when Rog is.

He did the judge's parts?! I had always presumed it was Rog with something like a Vocoder.

You are correct, Rog did all the vocals on The Trial (except for the tear down the wall chorus).

Definitely. They sound great together on "Us and Them" and "Echoes". "Burning Bridges" would be another perfect example. I like Roger's vocals as well, especially on San Tropez, but not nearly as much as i've enjoyed david gilmour singing with wright in the background.

I PREFER Dave's vocals to Rog's. Rog sounded too sarcastic for me.
