Only if he's available, which I doubt, and only if I really wanted to tell the world why I was called Red Bull. But on the other hand it could deprive the world of a star so forget that.

I would prefer one made of irony because its shinier than iron and doesn't rust. Its also very sharp...

If you wanna hear crap radio turn on any Top 40 station in the US.....Ugh, You'll hear the pop-singer of the week, some factory rock, or a dance song with no melody.......There really needs to be some kind of revolution in the radioworld, how long will people allow this to continue where the dj talks no more than 2 minutes about stupid contests, goes to commercials for 5 minutes, than play a song that only a 10 year old could listen to?

Thank God I don't live in America. I'm told the TV's pretty crap there too, mostly dumbed-down stuff.

So radio is crap wherever you go. Its the DJs half the time. They're so full of themselves, they want to hear the sound of their own voice.

You heard wrong.

Of course, some TV here is crap, but I am sure that the same percentage is crap there as well.

Well, I'll have to tell my friend over there then.

I suppose you get crap TV wherever you go but then you get good stuff as well. You just have to look for these things.

Well, looks like someone has heard your idea...was driving around last night and heard the "Floyd Fix at Midnight" show on a classic rock station out of Knoxville, Tennessee (WIMZ). They played Pink Floyd for about half an hour, and not just the usual songs that get played all the time. I was blown away by the one song...about 12 minutes long...which I could not identify (sadly, all my Floyd collection has either been burned in a fire or stolen). I dug it.

I envy you. The only Floyd songs I've heard on the radio are See Emily Play, Flaming, ABITW2 and Wish You were Here. So far anyway. Its more than gets played on the station I previously listened to anyway, so its an improvement.

I only ever listen to football on the radio, i have not found a radio station that plays music i like half of the time, never mind music i love like the floyd regularly. on the topic of radio 2 it can be good when they do specials such as DG interview a few months back or the Freddie Mercury tribute on the anniversary of his death, though i dont listen to if often enough to find out when these things are on. and as for the age of radio two listeners im 17.....

A lot of students listen to it I notice. But I'm glad I'm not the only person on this board who listens to Radio 2.

There was a special a week ago on the top 50 favourite no. 1s. PF got to 12 with ABITW2. As usual the Beatles dominated the top 10, with *sigh* Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody as No. 1. Its as overrated as ABITW2 in my opinion.
