is the Allman Bros Band classic rock? if so, i really like their guitarist - Duane Allman? the one who played on Broters & Sisters. Jessica
No doubt about it, The Allman Bros are awesome. Duane was one of the best, but if your looking for the guy who plays "Jessica"....that would be Dickey Betts.... an incredible player in his own right....

Though he is not exactly classic rock, I have to mention the "Master Of The Telecaster", aka "The Humbler", Danny Gatton.
Sometimes called "The greatest unknown guitar player in the world", his music was a weird blend of jazz, bluegrass, rockabilly and blues, kinda leaving himself alone in his own little genre. But man, could he play! He never became more well known because he didn't give a damn about being famous. He enjoyed more working out in his garage on his hotrods.

RIP, Danny.

As you may guess, David Gilmour, coming in at a close second, Jimi Hendrix, and rounding out, I'd have to go with Eric Clapton.
