I say Echoes because everybody is at their best. This song is really the height of Pink Floyd as a four-member band.

Did we really need a poll to see Echoes override all the rest? Maybe the poll should have been "What's your second favourite song on Meddle".

true, but the song is more of an instrumental masterpeice than it is a vocal one

I also vote for Echoes, there's just no other song in this world that measures up to it.
I have heard it soo many times but every time I listen to it I discover a new sound or it jsut elevates me in a different way

Yeah, Echoes is the best. Everything else on the album is like a support act prior to the main show.

I don't agree that "no other song measures up"...I personally think it was the point at which Floyd got their shit in one sock...but bigger and better things were to come.

I like both Echoes and Fearless the same. Obviously Seamus is the worst. So annoying and boring.
