Question Maybe one of the Europeans could explain it

Every day when we log into the company database we get a joke or a quote, or some such rubbish. Mine today was

"A Belgian. The definition of hell!"

Er ... don't get it

Re: Maybe one of the Europeans could explain it

There's nothing startling about Belgium, apart from manky chocolates shaped like shells and Jean Claude Van Damme. And the EU headquarters (but they talk shite about condoms and bananas). That is it.

Re: Maybe one of the Europeans could explain it

So a bit like South Australia then. Presume it's a quote from some pommie statesman or Ben Elton or some one....

Sorry Sydney l forgot that one of you people can use a computer. Actually the mere thought of going to Adelaide gives me nightmares ... there's just too many weirdos in your part of the world.

For anyone not in the loop on this, SA is like the psycho capital of Australia.... though my wife reckons it's a lovely place...

Actually l just generally have a dig at SA due to a certain individual at a tech site, lets just say he's not the sharpest tool in the shed but provides hours of amusement to everyone.

RB Lindt is the word dude.....

*Memo to self, there's probably no Tasmanias on board, pretty hard to type with webbed figures l guess...

Re: Maybe one of the Europeans could explain it

It's my understanding that this is not actually the case.

Re: Maybe one of the Europeans could explain it

Might be a bit overly topical

SA: riding in an ancient valliant across the Nullabor for a week... to this day the taste of pink lifesavers reminds me of a vast expanse of.. not very much at all...

Re: Maybe one of the Europeans could explain it

"Dinner is important"

fixxlevy postscript: Y'know, it really is a bloody shame with all the shit that happened after leaving Australia and going to ****ing NZ. I mean, it seemed that all that shit happened and had the effect of defining myself and Michelle's relationship, which is, I suppose, why it fell apart over here (Cunty God bothering mates who either told me I was going to go to Hell or tried to sleep with me when she wasn't about notwithstanding). What a ****ing bummer. I mean, this thread ain't much, but it's solely Australian (apart from myself, of course, but I was there at the time) and it's great. I even remember typing these entries. Ach, I'm not sure what I'm trying to say, but it's a ****ing shame the way things went. 'Cheers'
