No problem here...Close To The Edge by YES, it's the best dammit.

Why do you guys like Yes so much? I've heard the song "Owner of a lonely heart", and I wasn't that impressed. Maybe that's just from one of the more poppy albums?

Oh my god CatCruise, you are joking right....okay, lets explain...
There are two main guitarist in YES.
The good one, and the bad one.
Steve Howe is the good one, he was on the 70's albums and recent albums.
Trevor Rabin is the bad one, the one from the 80's, the Owner Of A Lonely Heart Year's, and I am not shy to say that those years suck. You have to listen to the Steve Howe years.
You have to listen to these albums:!
Fragile
Close To The Edge
The Yes Album
Going For The ONe
Relayer
and EVERYTHING else from the Howe years, forget the Rabin years, that was the poppy part, but when Rabin left and Howe came back, they rocked on! So please do not judge YES with Owner Of A Lonely Heart, because, yes, it does suck.

Problem is, the Poppy albums are the only one's that sold well, YES needed money, give them a break eh? Thier other albums did not sell so well, just enough to keep food on the table and a guitar around the shoulder...well maybe a bit more that that...hehe....

HEY! YES rocks! poppy, or not! they still rock in my opinion!
but yeah, the 70's albums were a lot better...the 80's albums weren't bad though
If your a mortal, then YES's 70's stuff will be some of the best music you will ever hear!

Yep, Fragile is great--but it's S*%t compared to the album that they released later that year--CLOSE TO THE EDGE.

Fragile is a great album, but like ODV said, not good compared to Close TO The Edge, also, check out Relayer and Going For The One.

I would have to say either the wall or Skelotons in the closet by the Grateful Dead

I'm on a 'THE WALL' craze right now--it's most of what I've been listening to for the last few weeks..there are NO filler tracks on that album! All have a purpose
