Nominate your new mods

Dear floydians,

As you know, FloydWright is no longer a moderator on this board, so that leaves Charade I Am and myself as the only mods around.

Although we don't have many issues on the board, a good team of moderators is necessary to keep things running smoothly and to guide new users. Moderators abilities include editing, deleting and moving threads.

Since I have been really busy myself with real life, as I'm finishing my thesis and my undergraduate studies, I'm not being able to closely monitor the boards. Because of that, I will be giving moderators full responsibility over the boards - that is, I'll be around, but more for dealing with technical problems and developing content for the website, than moderating the boards. If the three moderators decide on something, that is what APFFN decided and will be enforced.

The way I thought this would work best was like this: I'll now be asking people to nominate one person, either yourself, or people that you think would make a good moderator, someone you would abide by their decision. Later on, we'll have an ellection where you'll vote for the two people you think are right for that.

At anytime, if I get more than 10 user PMs protesting against a certain moderator, we'll hold another poll to see the users' opinions: if the moderator should stay or not.

To nominate someone, do it publicly, by replying to this thread. Please nominate only person to be a moderator; if you nominate more than that, your nominations won't be regarded. Please nominate only users that have registered on APFFN at least 3 months ago and have more than 50 posts. Only nominations from users that have registered on our site at least 30 days ago will be considered valid. We'll be accepting nominations until November 13th at 11:59 pm. And, BTW, people, please, no silly nominations. You can even make a new thread for silly nominations if you want to, but not in here!

If anyone has any doubts on anything that I posted here, please reply publicly as well.

But we need to pick TWO, don't we? What about Wing'd Icarus? Does he still post here frequently? Would he want the job? Or Shane G.? What about him? Would be nice to know if either of them are interested.

If BoaB decides he wants to run, he's also a good person to have on the ballot, I think.
