Well obviously he didn't want to see his material in the same disc with "new" Pink Floyd songs. This doesn't change the fact that he came up with the title, anyway, and he did participate indicating his preferences.

Yeah, I believe he thought Gilmour's choice (Some Of The Parts ) was so awful he had to stick his oar in and suggested Echoes.
