small pictures under your user name

ok damnit, i want a cool pic to put under my user name too!
the one thats always there, under my signature and name.
like when i post and stuff...

that small pic that everyone but me seems to have, i want it.
im not smart.

instructions please.

OK:

go to user CP @ the top and click change options. Then scroll all the way to the bottom to AVATAR. then pick one....

"These small images are called Avatars. They are displayed below your username on all posts that you make. There are two kinds of avatars: those provided by the administrator <link> and those that you upload yourself."

I got the above info about avatars from the f.a.q. button, the middle one of the seven in the top right hand corner of the screen, and under the User Maintenance heading: "How do I get a picture under my username?"

To add an avatar:

1. Click on user cp (User Control Panel) in the row of buttons mentioned.

2. Click on Edit Options and scroll down to the bottom

3. Click on Change Avatar and select one of the site's, or add the URL (www) address of an image, or type or browse for the filename of your own image to upload from your connected PC.

Notes.
. If you use a custom image, ensure you click yes for Use custom avatar
. "The maximum size of your custom image is 70 by 70 pixels or 15360 bytes (whichever is smaller)"
