The Sopranos Tonight!

Two references, yep, count em, TWO, to our beloved Floyd.

First, after Tony buys a new entertainment system, hes seen snoozing while the last few verses of DSOTM play LOUD on his new system...

Then later, in the shower, hes caught "singing" (for lack of a more appropriate term) in the shower ABITW2.

Whee! I love to see references like this

Re: The Sopranos Tonight!

I'm a devoted Soprano's fan. I missed the 7:00 showing cause I was gone, but am looking forward now with great relish to 10:00.

If Tony is getting in touch with his "Inner Floyd", well, that just makes it all the better.

As long as it is Soprano season, I could not live without HBO. I thought those PF references were great. I got a big kick out of it. I'm curious to see if there are any more references in any other episodes. It's kind of neat.

And it wouldn't be the first time, either.

Re: The Sopranos Tonight!

I very much enjoyed the episode where the wannabe 50 Cent guy paid Bobby to shoot him to increase his credibility and the doofus shot him in the backside, thereby rendering him a laughing stock for all time.

Sheer genius.

Very sad about Vito though.

Re: The Sopranos Tonight!

In the most recent episode, Tony sings a couple of lines from Comfortably Numb as he comes down to breakfast.

As much as I like it, you just don't get that with Deadwood.
