You can go look for tabs at the home page, they have all the tabs for all the songs you will ever want to play by the Floyd.

Hmm...

I have just about every version of every Floyd song already printed out...(its about 4-5 in thick), and ive never seen any tabes for an acoustic version of SOYCD...Its played quite differently than on electric, cause the Keyboard chords are played on acoustic and I dunno how to do it

Nor can I find any actual "Tabs Section" on this website, only a link to what appears to be a forum...with 2 sticky messages on it...

Help? Tell me where these tabs are?

Edit:

Ok, nevermind, I found it...I was only showing threads from the last 30 days...

Anyway....still no acoustic tabs for SOYCD...I can only hope the DVD "Spare Digits" section shows all this....unless someone knows how its played?

Also, the Meltdown show is GREAT! By far the best versions of Coming Back to Life, SOYCD and CN that Ive ever heard...

Flame on....

great !

The concert was great. We`ve seen large excerpts on channel 4. Very acoustic, very eclectic (even a french song, thanks so much). Wish you were here is not so far from the ultimate masterpiece in the concert.
But ... maybe that I should know, but who is the man who talks/sings the lyrics in "comfortably numb" ???

If you're not talking of Bob Geldof, the guy on the wheelchair is Robert Wyatt (which also produced the Meltdown Festival in 2001).

The DVD was released yesterday, and my copy was delivered today, THANKS AMAZON!

The only "bad" thing about it, is that the book that comes with the DVD isnt a book at all...its 2 pages consisting of a tracklist and credits, and a few photos.

Aww that's too bad. It's nice when there's pictures and all inside the booklets. That's my favorite part (almost)

Cheers

Actually, DVDs always offer poor booklets. Quite often they have no booklet at all, matter of fact.

Unhappy

Man am I disappointed..... got the DVD, immediatley selected CN and discovered a short and boring version of my fav solo of all times.... to think I was sitting there, anxiously waiting for the DVD to arrive just to see Dave playing CN in the Spare Digits Section, and find out it was a cutdown version.... sigh

I think the version with Bob Geldof is an excellent rendition, with an excellent solo. For me, the whole DVD is awesome. But all comes down to one's expectations. It's a David solo and semi-acoustic concert, it's not meant to be Pink Floyd. If your expectation is a Pink Floyd thing, you are going to be strongly disappointed. It's a different look to the same music, as a solo concert should be, IMO.

Actually I have never had a DVD that HAD a booklet...normal VHS's don't have booklets-so why should DVD's?

CD's have booklets, tapes don't. This is why.

Your reasoning escapes me! What have cd's and tapes got to do with it?
