I think this has been discussed previously. It is a mailinhg list, where if PF do go on tour they, the websites, will notify you via email.

I'm really trying not to get my hopes up. Pink Floyd has gone past it's prime, and there's no use trying to strangle it for more money. The best Floyd live experience you could probably get now is either the Pulse/ITF Video, or going to the supposed Roger Waters tour coming up.

Yes, certainly.

Re: Tour 2003/2004?

The only reason now to go on thour would be money. adn Rick, Nick, adn Dave aren't in it for money. Their past the glory days and they lost that certain touch. Dave voice is going. They just want ot relax till the end of their days. Roger on the hand is still got some spunk, not in his voice though. I think it just might be a little to late now.

Re: Tour 2003/2004?

It seems to me the Floyds are all pretty well set for life, so I don't see money being a huge concern for them. I think that's one reason we don't see them tour so much--the only real reason for them to tour is desire. I think they are settling down in their lives somewhat. Multiple members have children still at home, and that's definitely an obligation they have to consider. I'm not so sure about their "losing touch", though. I think if they wanted, they could pull off another great tour, or any of them could do great solo albums. In the end, it's all up to what they personally would like to do.

Re: Tour 2003/2004?

Allow me to sidetrack you a bit:
Man, they still have children at home! Little ones! I wonder if this scary thought have crossed anybody's mind:
e. g., David Gilmour will probably go to Romany's graduation in either:
a) a weelchair
b) a casket
Kind of a macabre thought, I know, but it might as well be truth...

another tour hopeful

I have seen the pulse tour live and it was quite simply amazing.

My only real regret in life is that I can't go back and see the other shows.

As I see it there 2 reasons to tour again

1) To allow new listerners to experience a real life concert

2) To break the boundries of what is possible like they have done

I do not see why they could not, as long as they are fit enough.

What I would like to see is the albums played live in full like WYWH and the wall again. I realize that is a huge undertaking and there are also copyright issues. But I can dream.

Also it would not visit many places and I am here in WI so I would have a long way to travel!

Re: Tour 2003/2004?

Thinking about pink floyd depresses me. Because I read the history and i'm like "i hope they don't break up!" but it's over! it's done! I can't go to a real floyd concert, i can't see the real "the wall" tour, or anything, it's just really depressing
