Manu Chao

hey-

so there's this french guy called Mr Manu Chao. He sings in Spanish, English, French, Porteguese, and some other language I haven't identified yet, but its mostly spanish. yargh, its just good music, and definetly worth a check out. Song/cd is Clandestino , and thats from 97'. I have yet to check out some more recent stuff from now-a-times. i'm done.

Actually Mr Manu Chao is not a band, but is an individual artist. And he's French, even if his family is Spanish. He was the former leader of Mano Negra ('Malavida', 'King Kong Five') and he released two (excellent) solo albums, 'Clandestino' and 'Proxima Estacion... Esperanza'. His latest effort is the live album 'Radio Bemba Sound System'. Grande Manu
