Re: Meltdown tabs?

Hey Blytey,

If you're willing to submit the Je Crois Entende Encore tabs to the APFFN tab collection, we'll gladly add it with the due credits to you.

Also, if anyone else wants to submit any new or correct any old guitar tabs/chords or bass tabs, please contact us (there's a link on the very bottom of every page on our site to contact us ).

Thanks!

Re: Meltdown tabs?

Hey Darksyde, I'm glad to let you know I've already tabbed the acoustic SOYCD and have it stashed somewhere. I'll mail it you soon, once it's typed up.

It's basicly the solo intro with ringing chords and the verses are all the known chords, the outro I'm sure you can work out yourself, just strum rhythmically, and that little picking bit.
I'll let you know soon...

Re: Meltdown tabs?

Smile.
The song's verses are with the Man alternating
between 'C major' (C), and 'C major seventh' (CM7) i think.

C CM7
C CM7
C CM7
C CM7

then,

Dm G6?
I'll make my get-away

F G
Time on my own

Dm G6
Search for a better way

F (play around on the F) C (back to C and CM7)
To find my way home to your smile....

The chords during the solo slide part i think are.....

FM7 then F for a few times
and i'm not sure after that...

Re: Meltdown tabs?

Dimming of the day.
Drop the top string down to a D.

It starts with picking and playing around on a D.

D
This old house is falling down

A (slides up but i'm not 100% on the formation)
Around my ears

G D
I'm drowning in a river

A
Of my tears

Back to the start with a D....

That's about all i know. God knows
if it's right.
Any help would be good.

Red face Re: Meltdown tabs?

Hello everyone,

After various PM's and emails regarding the SOYCD meltdown tab I thought I'd finally post it here. Anybody who might want it can get it a lot easier now.
Also, many thanks to those who requested it so politely, and apologies for leaving it this long before I posted it here.

REMEMBER to copy and paste this to notepad, as it gets a tad garbled here.

============================

Song: Shine On You Crazy Diamond, (acoustic).
Artist: Pink Floyd/David Gilmour.
Album: David Gilmour in concert (Live at the royal festival hall, London).
Tuning: Standard - EBGDAE.

===============================

NOTE: The chords played here are given a boost by
some sort of synth/sampling pedal which lets
them ring out behind the licks David plays after.

Intro: part #01 (after David plays a few warm-up licks)
