Simpsons & Pink Floyd

On two episodes of the show The Simpons there were references to Pink Floyd.

1. The episode where Mr. Burns goes broke he turns in cans to the recycling centre and says to the hippie he gives the cans to " Shine on you Crazy Diamond."

2.The halapalooza episode homer kicks a canon and is shot by a giant inflaitable pig. Peter Frampton says he bought it from Pink Floyd's Garage sale.

If anyone can tell me if in any other episode (of any show for that matter) make references to Pink Floyd.

The Simpsons have made a reference to just about everything throughout the years.
...Not that i'd know anything about that!

I've seen the two episodes you mention.

Apparently there's more but I haven't seen them.

The episode where Homer goes to Africa. Marge tries to reach him and says "Hello, is there anybody out there?" with added echo effect. The ep was horrible and that joke was silly too.

By the way, this is a DDT, I believe.

Also, if you ever saw the show (I know, I don't watch sitcoms, but this one was very excellent) Newsradio, there was an episode where Phil Hartman's character says "We don't need your education, we don't need your mind control." Very funny, given the context of the show.

Whenever you see Homer in his room as a teenager, he's got a Dark Side of the Moon poster.

Or a Queen poster.

This probably is a DDT.

it was actually Ned Flanders who saw the marching hammers, crossing the street on the crosswalk in front of his car, after drinking the herbal drink Homer's hippy friends produced (and Homer doctoring it with their "private stash").

on Newsradio, also, one character makes reference to smoking pot and listening to Dark Side of the Moon.
