Throughout "The Wall", whatever the main character (Pink) is watching on the TV says "n*gg*r" a LOT. Does anyone know what that's all about? Some military guy named his dog the N word but I wonder why it repeats it so much?

If you watch the movie with commentary on, Roger explains all of this. The show that is being watched is some British TV show (apparently famous in Britian), it is very old, and back then there wasn't a problem with the "N" word in the U.K. as there was here in the U.S. The TV show actually aired in the U.S., and they had to change the name of the dog to something else rather hysterical I believe. But the dog dies, and that is very sad.
