It was an amazing show..I normally don't buy alot of merchandise at concerts but they had a cool Rush photo booklet with pictures and stuff from the last 30 years that was pretty cool. If you buy something early they will put your merchandise in a Rush plastic bag with the naked man/star logo thing on it. I have never seen Rush before in concert. I thought it was a great show...I don't want to give away too much.

If you don't want to know what the set list is skip past what I'm about to post...this is going off my memory so it won't be 100% accurate.

(Meddley of like 10 different songs to start the show)
Spirit of the Radio
By Tor & the Snow Dog
Anthem
A Passage to Bangkok
2112 (intro, temple of syrinx, finale)
Xanadu
The Trees
La Villa Strangiato
Roll The Bones
Dreamline
Bravado
Tom Sawyer
Red Barchetta
Limelight
YYZ
Mystic Rythms
Animate Me
Working Man
Subdivisions
Red Sector A
Earthshine
Some Cover songs (Crossroads, Summertime Blues, The Seeker)
and alot more songs I just can't remember right now...

The songs are not played in this sequence during the show either.
I'll see them Wednesday night, can't wait.. Thanks for the update on the set list. I'm taking my kids to the show as well and my son (he's 5) loves "Roll the Bones". Glad to see it in the set, I know he'll love it.

Yah, if I could eliminate one song from that set list, it would probably be Roll the Bones. Rush seems particuarly fond of this song, as they've played it on every tour since they recorded it, but it's not one of my favorites.

Rush puts on an incredible show. Sometimes it's a little sad to watch a rock group try to do a "reunion" tour in their 40's or 50's and see them try to go on stage and tediously get through all their songs without having a heart attack (I.E. Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones), but Rush truly goes out there and rocks like they always have. I think they've taken care of themselves a little better than your average rock group as they seem to have a lot of energy, stamina (3 and a half freaking hours?!) and still knows how to rock

Can't wait

I think Roll the Bones is fine until the "rap" part...that just ruins the song. And as far as best Rush album, I change my pick from 2112 to A Farewell To Kings. I listened to it last night on my way into work and forgot how good that album is. 2112 might be a little too weird for someone just getting into Rush.

Fulghum make sure you update this thread and let us know what you think of the concert. I'm sure you won't be disapointed.

Dr. Cheese, You & Gtm made this thread very humorus, among others. I'm really liking this type of humor, good stuff all! Now, I have to say I REALLY LOVE RUSH, I also don't care who cares or not cares, to each his own. YSB8, you have a lot of spirit, and take the crap in stride, all in fun (I think). I chose FWTK's over 2112 cause of cinderella man, if we humans could only try to reach that level. Sometimes I go back and just read the lyric's to that song, dang that's good stuff! I put rush up there with P.F. also Led Zep and Lynyrd Skynyrd and AC/DC and Metallica and ..... I could go on and on .....
