How would you react if you MET your favorite memeber of FLOYD

Just curious as to how my fellow APFFN friends would react if they MET their heroes. Would you bow or argue, would you worship or question?

Luckily, as I am "In" the music "Biz" I have met and worked with several famous, and not so famous "stars" my reactions have surprised me...what would YOU say???

If I saw Roger on the street I would run away the other direction

well, I met Norm Abram once. I pretty much freaked out and had him sign my safety glasses. So, if I were to meet say Dave, I'd be pretty "stoked", as it were. If I met Rog, though I think he might be kind of a jerk, I'd still be all, you know, jittery. Any of the other three would be most likely the same, very cool, indeed. But, ah, only fantasies.

I would dig to meet any member of PF, past or present.

Come to think of it... I haven't met anyone famous, really. I would be jittery if I met any member of PF, for sure.

Norm Abram is the freaking DYI man!!

Ever see his basketball shoe commercial, frigging hilarious.

I know someone who got backstage passes to ITF 99, they said Rog wasn't a jerk, but he didn't hang around long and made no conversation.

If I met Dave the first thing I would do is shit my pants.

After that, I would act all cool and breezy as I told him how talented I thought he was. Of course my conversation with him would be held with me having positioned myself down wind.

well, if i'd met Roger K. Barrett, i'd say to him that i really like his music (with the Floyd and solo). and i'd wish him a long and happy life.
but i think i'd be too scared and surprised to say anything at all. sad, isn't it??

but if i'd met david i'd KISSSSS HIMMMM..... uuuuuuuu...

My fav is Syd and if I met him I would just ignore him, that's what he'd prefer, I guess.

It's a fair cop.

Roger: "Hello sir. I'm very happy to meet you. I'm a great admirer of your work. Especially The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking. By the way, what were the Gunner's dying words on the intercom?"

Rick: "Hello sir. I'm very happy to meet you. I'm a great admirer of your work. Especially Broken China. By the way, I am interested in making a short animated film about the myth of Sisyphus using your Ummagumma piece. Would that interest you at all?"

Nick: "Hi Nick! How's that Pink Floyd book coming?"

Syd: "Hello Mr. Barrett."

Dave: "Oi! You there! Release Pompeii on DVD!"

Me too, the idea of celebrity is just bollocks, they'd probably be quite boring anyway, Dave hardly comes across as the life and soul now does he. IMO. (for you youngsteinbeck8).
