HELP! (question about certain effect pedal)

Hi.
I'm new.
My name is Chris.
I love Pink Floyd. (duh)
I am on a quest.
To find out what kind of pedal it is, that Dave is using on his new DVD David Gilmour in Concert, during the beginning of SOYCD.
It looks like a wah wah.
While he's playing, there's something that sounds like a synthesizer, but what is in my opinion the pedal in question. It seems to take the notes he's playing and turning them into some kind of synth pad sound.
I need to get my hands on one of those babies.
Hope there's someone here who can tell me what the hell it is.

oh yeah - uh.. Shine On. And stuff.

I can just confirm to you that that pedal in fact controls some kind of reverb which sounds like a synth sound, the one you need during SOYCD, this has been mentioned by Dave himself in one of his recent interviews about the DVD. But unfortunately I cannot give you further details.

I came on to ask exactly that same question... I might have a go at making it with the Zoom 3030 I have sitting beside me

I've found the quote from David, eventually. Here we go:

"'Shine On' is my favourite song from the 'Wish You Were Here' album. I thought I would try it solo with acoustic guitar. The record has the sound of fingers on wine glasses with keyboards on a long, drawn out opening, so I had to devise a new way of doing it. It struck me that there is a device I've used with a long repeating delay on my guitar with which I can give myself what sounds like a synthesised orchestral background. I found that it lent itself to it very well."
