Re: No Topic

I'd correct that:

There's nothing more annoying than a big math problem.

Re: No Topic

It all depends on how you look at it.
When you play a game you are simply using rules to solve a problem. If you look at a math problem like a game you should have no problem..
...Of course you must know to the rules to play the game.

Re: No Topic

Actually, math problems are boring. Computer programming problems are a lot more interesting.

Re: No Topic

I disagree... Math is kinda easier. Programming requires some logic so that is an additional effort. Of course as far as interest goes, Computers it is [Unless it is Calculus or Trigonometry!]

Re: No Topic

I enjoy the logic in computer programming more than I enjoy the math. It all makes sense. But then again, everyone's brain works a little differently.

Re: No Topic

That's a tough spot Simon, since your chosen major is a bit more challenging than mine.

Re: No Topic

I mean, when it comes to Math... my basics have been hammered in so friggin' hard, it's almost automatic. No thought... just pattern recognition and application of pre-determined steps. I lack the flexibile approach American students seem to have but I have phenomenal memory and basics!
But yes, my brain really doesn't work and this worries me. I might switch over to BioInformatics in the hope that this will force my brain to start working!
