Roger has anchors tattooed on his biceps, eats spinach and smokes a corncob pipe.

Re: Anyone have a Floyd tattoo?

I have a floyd tat in the works right now...my best friend is an amazing tattoo artist and has wanted to do a floyd piece for a while, and considering my obsession with all things floyd, it had to be me.

basically, i have a brick wall going from my right elbow up to the shoulder, with 3 large holes in the wall. the top center hole on my shoulder has the robotic hands and 4 elements from wish you were here, further down on my bicep will be the prism from that one album...and on the back of my arm will be the battersea power station and flying pig from animals. on the inside of my arm, if i get up the courage (one of the most painful locations to tattoo) will be the trial scene from the wall. at the base of the wall will be the little slumped over rag doll, hardly noticable in the original drawing, but its a cool detail to have.

i can post pics later if anyone is interested...

My Floyd Tattoo!

I figured I had better stop in to share this with my fellow Floyd fans...

So I decided it was time to go and get my 7th tattoo, and since I'm running out of places I realized I could be reaching the end of my tattoo'ing days, so I'd better get the Floyd one I've always wanted.

Hunted down a picture online, took it in. The tat artist was like..."What am I going to do with this?"...lol. But I like the way it turned out and he said this was probably the coolest Pink Floyd tattoo he'd ever done. Most people just get the prism, but I wanted something a little more.

*My leg looks gigantic because this was an extreme close-up*

Re: My Floyd Tattoo!

Hate to be the party pooper but there has been a thread about this for a very long time now, I would have expected you as a ''golden age veteran'' to be aware of this. But you know what, it's no problem and we'll just act like it never happened. Please do a search next time before posting a new thread and everything will work out just fine.

It seems you're in a merging threads mood today.

Re: Anyone have a Floyd tattoo?

It's coincidental, duty just happened to be calling. Both incidents appeared to be very suitable for the merging solution instead of just closing them. I'd say it's the nicest way to deal with duplicate threads, hope everyone's feeling satisfied. Getting there myself.

Re: Anyone have a Floyd tattoo?

The rules about duplicate threads used to be different in the golden age? I expected a reply in this fashion and I do think it is a very silly one indeed, I was simply doing what I should have done and that is upholding the rules. The rules apply to ''important members'' too, look what happened to Organ Grinder. You say it is a reminder for you to stay away, I wonder in what way. You don't like the rules? You don't like mods making sure the rules are not broken? Whatever it is, it's bollocks. Very silly and childish remark indeed, but if that is the path you choose I respect that. As far as I know the site rules count for all members on this site so also for you, talk to Paulo if you feel otherwise. It would also be nice if you stopped with the same old golden age bollocks, it's not nice for new members to hear about that same old bollocks over and over again. The fact I dealt with a DDT the way I'm supposed to is a reminder for you to stay away from here? Speechless about that one, if that is what the golden age is like thank God that bollocks is over now. All in all you're attitude towards the site, towards new members, towards geared up foreign mods you don't know, towards just about everything here, is just plain wrong. I strongly dislike it and I will say goodbye now, got some stuff to do, stuff that needs to be done etc etc.

Much love,

Laurence Anthony Blij
