I don't know where folks get all these 'leanings' rumors. I've heard Shakespeare, Hitler, Lincoln, Jesus, Noah... pretty much anyone who is dead and famous has been identified at one point or another as homosexual. And frankly, I don't think you can really tell all that much about someone's sex life if he's been dead for five hundred years.

Unless he has had sex with men. Then isn't it pretty obvious?

That's assuming Shakespeare wasn't a woman.

If you play Shakespeare backwards, he tells you to kill your parents. It's a true story.

I wasn't aware he did any sessions in the studio. You're probably talking about bootlegs huh. Last edited by Driven; 12-05-2002 at 12:55 AM.

Shakespeare RoIOs. I saw him back before he stopped touring-- I think he was lip-synching. Plus Milli Vanilli did backup.

I'm not saying our Billy was homosexual, it seems likely he was bisexual because he did get married (but only after getting his wife-to-be pregnant and he really wanted the bachelor's life!). He could have been in denial though. Anyway, I just read somewhere that he was inclined that way.

BoaB, sorry about the misunderstanding. I don't need a literal meaning, line for line. Like I said, I found that. You seem to know about this sort of stuff so maybe I'll post what I found on here and you can give me your opinion on it? But actually, what I'm looking for is somewhere where Mr. Shakespeare himself has said what this sonnet is about. By the way, you're welcome Driven. ~Brian~
