Syd playing Jugband Blues live

i've just downloaded a 40MB video recording of Syd playing Jugband Blues (presumably to a live audience). Do other people here have this recording or have i stumbled upon some prized rarity? Coz I was amazed to find it on Kazaa as i had always presumed that this song was never performed live, let alone recorded.

cheers

Yuri

p.s. other video recordings of syd which I found on Kazaa but did not download was a live recording of Flaming, what appears to be a small segment of Syd Barrett's First Trip and also the recent 'stalker footage' of Syd which I won't download for ethical reasons.

Don't knock it, prized rarities are generally prized for their rarity value as rarities.

You just willfully refuse to be explained to.

if it's something many people have, it's not rare.

Well, if it's good, it is prized.

Syd Playing Jugband Blues live

Hmm...I knew that a video had been made, but I never knew that Syd performed it in front of an audience. I wonder, where did you find the recording? I would like to hear it.
Regards.

Just to clarify, the video was a promo recorded in the late 60's. Some film collectors snatched it shortly after it was made, and has been recently recovered. The audio was really bad sounding, so whoever digitized it dubbed it with the BBC version of the song. And I'm pretty sure that it wasn't played in front of an audience. By now it probably isn't much of a rare treasure as it has been included on numerous VCD releases and the like. But if you have it in the original film, then that's another story!

it was a promo video, probabilly the last video with syd playing and singing with pink floyd.
sound quality is bad, but video quality is ugly too! not an exciting one

Syd's blank stare could burn a hole through your skull if you look long enough.

Yes, I've seen the promo video. I thought there was one live. I've never seen any live footage of him stopping in the middle of a show. I heard that they had that somewhere.
