| Re: Division smell or abused to death Like in the AMLoR vs. TFC thread, how often I listen to these albums has nothing to do with how much I like them--I like them both quite a lot. For conceptual unity and intellectual challenge, ATD is superior. But for being able to relate on a personal level, TDB is better for ME and MY personality. I listen to TDB more frequently, but that's for similar reasons to the AMLoR-TFC thread: I prefer to listen to ATD when I can set aside some time to give it my undivided attention.

| Re: Division smell or abused to death Although I'd say The Final Cut and KAOS are also pretty good RW solo albums, I agree that ATD is his best.

| smell? abused? sarah, yer one acerbic li'l tart! Oh well, I like sarcastic girls. Except I think maybe you're not.....oh, never mind. As Thor pointed out, this IS just like TFC v. AMLoR. So my answer is similar.... If I'm in the mood for a story narrative, I'll go with ATD. If I want to hear music, TDB. Only song I really like on ATD is Bravery Of Being Out Of Range. My favorite line: "Just love those laser-guided bombs, they're really great for righting wrongs...." Right on, Rog. But I do get a bit irritated with his holier-than-thou Yanks-are-assholes theme that permeates the work. I like TDB---Dave's vocals are a little tedious on "A Great Day....." but what the hell...The songs all sound good to me. Conclusion: If I could only have one or the other. TDB, no contest.
