A Pink Floyd Book by the Fans

I was pondering this last night, and I got to wondering...

Would any of you, as fans of Pink Floyd, be interested in reading a collection of stories, reminiscences, lyrics, etc. inspired by the band?

I have been thinking that it might be interesting (maybe) to do just that - collect all the stories, etc. from fans of the band and compile them into a book. I see it as a sort of study of pop-culture in general, and of the fanbase/subcultures that bands like Pink Floyd engender.

Any thoughts?

Or is this too academic?

Cheers!

It sounds a good idea, but a book I would personally pass on.
