To me, he brings what I liked about Soundgarden so much to something as raw as Rage was.

If you combine Chris Cornell with 3/4 of RATM, you can't really go wrong, in theory.

Pearl, you might be biased on that.

I wasn't much of a fan of Soundgarden, but his solo CD was absolutely brilliant. He has a terrific range. Audioslave is ok, but its hard to mesh the two styles, sometimes they do it brilliantly, sometimes the y fail horribly.

I hear you on that. I mean take "Like A Stone" for example, great song but it just doesn't seem like the style for the members of Rage and was, not in a negative way, almost painful to hear/see the video for that song to be honest. Almost looked as if it pained them playing it too.

I like Paul McCartney's voice when he sings fairly softly, its sooo smooth, though its a bit shot now.

Always thought Gilmour's voice is like a slightly gravelly version of McCartney's.

Jim!!!

How come nobody talking 'bout Jimmy? Morrison made the doors, and had the best rock baritone ever. Freddy Mercury was great to, so much emotion. Plant, Roger, Lennon, Clapton, they're all up there.
