Unhappy questions regarding ROIO

hey, just a couple of quick questions from a newbie. are the rare
songs "oneone/fingals cave" and "rain in the country" the same as on the official rerelease of zabriskie (the one with the extra disk)? are these different takes? also, i keep seeing ROIO's with "moonhead", "stanley the simpletan", "the committee" and the like. are these legit, or just bootleggers names for songs i already have? any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Re: questions regarding ROIO

I'm not sure about any of the others, but I'm pretty sure the "Stanley the Simpleton" track is a fake. I don't think it's actually PF.

BTW, welcome to the boards!

Re: questions regarding ROIO

Stanley is certainly a fake. Oenone/Fingal's Cave is not included in Zabriskie Point 2CD Set but I recommend you to buy that album.

There's an excellent website for full infos about Pink Floyd rarities, the Pink Floyd Hyperbase http://pinkfloydhyperbase.dk/

Smile more furious madness...

thanks for the link, mad yannis. as long i got people answering questions... i've got a coupla ROIO's that feature instrumental versions of "swan lee", supposedly recorded w/floyd. these tracks sound NOTHING like either floyd or "swan lee" , so i have grave doubts as to their authenticity. does anyone out there know for sure? (i've seen these tracks on other boots, they seem
fairly common. still...)
