The person who wrote this has got to be the biggest dumbass in the history. His comments on Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, and the Doors are ludicrous. Is this guy serious? I wonder who this guy likes....N'Sync?

Re: Check out this website

The author of this cowardly statement refuses allegiance with any particular genre of music or individual band. He/She is quick to accuse, granted without justice, various groups of wrongdoings to the musical world without any evidence of that which serves the musical world well. Thought I am lithe to jump to the defense of Pink Floyd in the pure self-interest of preserving the name, this article consists purely of unfounded tripe, and I hope that is readily apparent to all others, not just Floyd fans, from even a quick scan of the article. It almost seems reminiscent of the ill-informed thread about Wright's shortcomings in the group throughout their sojourns, which portrayed him as a "crack addict" subjugated to Water's every desire. Thank you, Echoes69, for demonstrating the shortcomings and ignorance of those who wish to make waves by disrupting the acceptance of clearly superior groups. Were I not a member of this Floyd site, I would still take great offense to most of the other bands listed in the top ten of most overrated. Furthermore, no rap, female singers, or pop music? What can be so offensive about individual art forms, or in the case of pop music, that which is widely accepted. The label of "pop" music comes from its general acceptance, not necessarily from its flagrant abuse of musical standards. Anyway, I have spoken enough, forgive me please for my excesses of defense, but rarely has such ignorance spurned me from my comfortable bed of indifference on most matters.

Re: Check out this website

A) He is incredibly stupid and therefore his opinions do not even deserve debate.

B) It is very tongue in cheek and it's just a big joke.

I have to go with B because anyone that stupid would already be dead from attempting a jackass stunt.

*yawn*

If people keep posting these sites up then they won't be offensive anymore.

Besides, we're just giving them traffic.

Totally tongue in cheek. There is no way he can be serious. If he is, then he has the shittiest taste in music imaginable (apart from his hatred of KISS of course LOL).

Even if he is serious, 'it's a matter of opinions'. I'd hate to see his CD collection if he meant all of that.

Re: Check out this website

I thought it was funny how he said, Pink Floyd has been around for about 20 years.
