I can sleep anywhere anytime. Ask Rob, even the skid plate of an F-111 (with requisite diesel heater tube stuffed under the parka in winter: a must).

Epitaph: "Sorry, I dozed off."

Strictly platonic, dear Meesh. It's more a fraternal thing than anything else; the classic "military buddies" sort of gig. I know and adore his mom, for goodness sakes, and I trust it's mutual.

Mind in the gutter or what please.

Re: Official Nap appreciation thread

I'm somewhat incapable of going off to sleep once I wake up in the morning... I sleep only at night. I can go for a couple of nights without sleeping or anything [once went for 60 hrs without sleep]...

Naps... nah! I feel they are a waste of time...

I've seen that term spelled in almost every way except the one I was pretty sure was correct: "definitely". Now I'm starting to doubt, maybe i was wrong and someone else was right.
Is there some mothertongue english here who have the slightest idea of that word should be written?

Re: Official Nap appreciation thread

Saturday afternoon's, during the fall, on the futon, with a cool breeze blowing in and college football on TV. That is my perfect nap.

A close second is sunday afternoon's with pro football.

Re: Official Nap appreciation thread

Hello to all in Pedants Corner, the correct spelling of definantly is, as Hicks suggests, DEFINITELY. And that's definately correct.
