I idolize the following individuals because I wish I could :

write lyrics like - Roger Waters, Jarvis Cocker, and Kate Bush.

write music like - David Gilmour, Rick Wright and Robbie Robertson.

write stories like - Stephen King, J. K. Rowling, and Tolkien. (Fat chance, there!)

create artwork like - (my acquaintances) Mikiko, MadCapLaughs69, and Michael Meadows.

make people laugh like - Eddie Izzard and Maggie Estep.

be as beautiful as - Isabella Rossellini (no way on earth, there).

There are so many others, but the top three are my most idolized categories, at the moment...

Cheers!

You are so sweet to me, Simon... And here I have no present to give you for Christmas...

How about a free copy of whichever novel I self-publish next year?

Cheers!

AC/DC is good for one thing, they make me laugh
I completely agree. ACDC are sooooooooo shithouse. There's nothing worse than Australian pub rock. Most ACDC fans dont even listen for the music, they simply listen so they can headbang and shout out loud 'TNT oi oi oi!!!'.

If there's anything that I'm damn ****ing sick of it's teenagers destined to be yobbos, who wouldn't have the first idea about music, telling me that they are an ACDC fan. Grow up all you beer guzzling Aussie yobbos (not to mention yoboos in Europe aswell...if there's such a thing) and listen to some real music!

I saw AC/DC four times around the late '70's early '80's and they were f***ing awesome everytime, I don't recall ever shouting 'TNT oi oi oi!!!' (whatever that means) and I certainly didn't grow up into a yobbo, although I do like the odd beer guzzling session.

A couple of weeks before I left Oz, I was sitting in a toilet cubicle (as you do) and noticed that, where the toilet roll dispenser had originally had 'Bowscott' embossed on it, someone had deliberately altered it to now read 'Bonscott'. I thought that that was pretty touching, frankly. Also, on the majority of trains, there is a sign up which reads 'At night, please travel near the guard's carriage marked with a blue light', however, I didn't once see one that hadn't been amended with tippex or whatever to say 'please rave near the guards carriage naked with a blue light'.

Hilarious!
