If you look closely at Jabba the Hutt, he's actually a large penguin painted brown.

Yes, it's amazing what you can achieve with an extra helping of fish.

oh boys, you make me laugh, make me laugh some more!
Seems like the Mark has spoken ey? Well I ain't finished yet

I therfore write the following excerpt from I review I read today in a fortnightly Adelaide publication called db magazine

" Gollum's face and his interaction with other characters seems as solid as they are. Other CG effects such as Treebeard the Ent (a massive walking tree) and the magnificent backgrounds for Helm's Deep and Mordor are also amazing, and the battle scenes are of a scale and detail as to make George Lucas cry like the little girl that he is"

I was laughing so hard for so long, I had to come online and show you guys

cheers

That's bollocks. Gollum blaltantly didn't gel with his 'surroundings' and the narked off trees don't even warrant a mention.

People that like LOTR are the types that liked the Spiderman movie and thought it was 'cool'.

pish posh, lotr can't compare with sw. so it's got flashy cg and walking wood, big deal. all it amounts to is PJ stealing a fantasy world to make a buck. granted that GL is a hack of a director who has fairly butchered the prequels, that doesn't diminish the stature of the original trilogy. plus, there's much more room to run with in a whole universe than just a middle earth.

Oh come on you're telling me that watching two Robots argue is more interesting than a watching a dwarf and an elf kick some uruk-hai butt. Sorry guys but this you jsut won't win, it's more intersting, more beliveavable and quite frankyl better to look at

cheers

No need for base insults Marko.

I think part of the attraction in Star Wars is that we were kids when we first saw it...so the magic is still there for us.

If you sat a ten year old down and showed him/her Star Wars...and then Lord of the Rings...I personally think he/she would prefer LoTR.

I think it's LoTR for the kids of today.

No idea what will be showing when I have little tackers.
