Darn it, fIoydian slip, you forgot the scene where Obi Wan Kenobi corners GeeDubONE, great high preistess and queen of the planet GilmourHOra and ravishes her mightily.

Shame on you.

Cheers!

As for my vote, well it totaly goes to LOTR, I'm sorry but a bunch of spaceships and even Ewan McGregor can not measure up to LOTR. The acting alone is a 1000 times better in LOTR, the cast more talanted (and better looking, mmmm, my avatar)
The effects (in my opinion) are more spectacular and the world more beliveable. I can relate so much more to the characters of Middle Earth than those of the republic or whatever. They seem more approachable and more real.
Episode 1 sucked, if it didn't have Ewan McGregor in it I would have marched straight out of that cinema!

Also LOTR is much funnier, I mean who doesn't love Gimli, one of my fave quotes from 2 Towers is "Toss me! But don't tell the elf" Some seriously funny shit there (some of you may remember that in the first film Gimli was quoted as saying "Nobody ever tosses a dwarf") And the other great one
Gimli: Legolas, I got two already!
Legolas: I got 17 (shoots another two orcs) Gimli, 19!

All in all a better trilogy

cheers

Well said Lej.

Personally I found Gollum's little schitz episode the most amusing, I had never seen it that way when I read the book.

Re: Lord of The Rings v Star Wars

OMG! it was hilarious! Like techincally what he's going through isn't funny but I loved how it almost made you think that the whole time there were two creatures. Cos of differrent camera angles and the versy strong change it really looked like he was talking to someone

cheers
