So any help from you guitar players would be a wonderful help.
Thanks in advance!

What you want to do is learn from getting tabs for songs that you know and love, and get the chords from chordfind.com. I teach most of my students this way. Like stratman says, though, It's all in the practice.

If you're talking about the kind of ash finish that Dave has on his Tele in Pulse, I'd have to say go with it. But then again I'm kinda biased, seeing as after one look at that Tele I just knew I had to have one. So I worked my ass off, 55 hours a week for 10 weeks (I was fifteen, so that was a hell of a lot to me) and went out and bought it.

Sheer beauty.

Re: What guitar do you have?

Anyone feel like listing their amp/effects?

Marshall Microstack
Korg AX1500G effects processor
Marshall Guv'nor 2
Couple cheap danalectro mini-pedals (tbone distortion and chorus)

I'm in love with this Korg effects processor. Now all I need is more amp!

And Mother:
I know the feeling.

I got the Yamaha F-310 today - it's a very sweet player, and I'm certain that it will be with me for a long, long time.

I summarily 'retired' my older Yamaha (Eterna) today; I put it in the closet in a case. It deserves rest after 8 years of premium service.

Re: What guitar do you have?

Lotus Strat knockoff, cheap guitar but covered with very valuable autgraphs, I don't play that one anymore.

'69 Strat: white, tortiose shell pickguard, ebony fretboard

Yamaha FG-75 acoustic

Homebuilt Telecaster (Yup, made it myself) Warmoth neck, ebony fretboard, Seymour Duncan std tele bridge pickup and a Seymour Duncan quarter pound humbucker at the neck.

Re: What guitar do you have?

Hey, I got a new baby. A local guitar shop is on the verge of going out of business. To raise capital to keep afloat they are having a huge sale right now.

I picked up a little red sweetie today for under $500.00

I have a brand new Dean Sarasota, semi holowbody, twin humbuckers, double cutaway....Plays like silk.....

take a peek here, mines red.

A Peavey Blue Marvel, it's actually a really good and loud one considering it's small.
