| Every Stanger's Eye live Hello! I am new to this forum and I'm a huge fan of the Floyd/Waters. So to start off my first post... When I first bought the In The Flesh live album a few years back, one of the first songs I went to listen to was "Every Stranger's Eyes" from Pros&Cons... and much to my surprise the vocals for the verse between "and now..." and "the hope you kindle in your eyes" was spliced in FROM THE PROS&CONS ALBUM!! I was wondering what anybody thinks of this, and whether or not they know why it was done. |

| Re: Every Stanger's Eye live G'day, welcome to the forum. I didn't think it was exactly the same as the album, but it does sound pretty close. I think Roger actually lip-sync'd that bit in a lot of the concerts because it's quite hard, and his voice wasn't up to it after playing a concert every other night. I saw his concert last year and I'm pretty sure he lip sync'd that bit.

| Re: Every Stanger's Eye live Yeah I know it's quite hard. I'm a singer/bassist myself actually and that high C is quite the biatch to hit for a guy!! I'm pretty sure it is the exact vocal from the album though, which kind of bothers me. I mean the least he could've done was go into the studio and resing it until it was passable and use THAT to lip synch to. At least that wouldn't have stuck out like a sore thumb in the concert. |
