Precisely. Likewise, "Echoes" is in D instead of C#, "Careful" is in C# instead of C, etc.

Sure, it's not EXACTLY a semitone's difference and Pompeii is no longer in the standard musical world of A4=440 Hz, so retune your guitar and stop being such a baby about it. They filmed it at a weird framerate and it plays too fast. It hasn't been fixed. Let it go.

She's wright, folks. It's about 0.7 semitones too sharp. Which means they filmed at 22.6 fps and then converted to 24, or filmed at 23.54 fps and converted to 25.

Either way, Shane needs to check his guitar's intonation.

I've never played along with Pompeii seriously, mind you. I have once or twice on a bass - and who knows if that was tuned exactly.

NORTH AMERICANS REJOICE!

According to www.brain-damage.co.uk, we haven't a long wait:

'POMPEII DVD US/CANADIAN RELEASE DATE: We have just heard that the US/Canadian release of "Pink Floyd Live At Pompeii - The Director's Cut" has now been scheduled for 21st October, the day after the UK release of this title...'

We care, we just still don't believe it after the release date has been continually pushed back for the better part of a year now.

This same lonely desert was the last known home of the Manson family; will he make that grim connection when my attorney starts screaming about bats and huge manta rays coming down on the car? If so, well, we'll just have to cut his head off and bury him somewhere, 'cause it goes without saying that we can't turn him loose. He'd report us at once to some kind of outback Nazi law enforcement agency and they'll run us down like dogs. Jesus, did I say that? Or just think it? Was I talking? Did they hear me?"

I can assure that you are going to live in the most beautiful city in Italy (IMO of course) and one of the finest places in the world, Florence.
Serious question here. Are they racist towards blacks in Florence?

You see, there's the occasional intolerant and racist person everywhere, but I truly believe the vast majority of Italian people isn't. In Florence particularly, I'd say.
