I sing in the shower, and also when I drive in the car. I'm not very good, though.

Yes but the question was "can you sing"? I suppose.

I do pretty decent vocals. A few shots followed by a beer or two and voila! the vocalist is ready.

My favs would be : Jim Morrison, Roger Waters and for his amazing range Klaus Meine. I also dig Eddie Veder.

well I am the vocalist in a band...but that does not mean I can sing. so I'm going to say not i can't sing.

I think Pete Townshend has a nice voice if you get used to it. His fellow Who member Roger Daltrey had a nice voice for a long time, but lately he's really been straining for those high notes in Baba O' Riley when touring. I also like how Roger Waters has a versatile use of his voice. He can sing softly, but with intense emotion, and then he can wail and yell while singing at the same time! He also does those cool Careful With that Axe Eugene screams. Can anyone here do that? I've tried, but I'm afraid I'll develop calluses on my vocal cords or something!
