I could not agree more. Obscured By Clouds kicks ass!!!!! It's a shame that many people who consider themselves Floyd fans haven't listened to it.

Obscured By Clouds is on one of my tiop five most favorite Pink Floyd albums. Absolutly Curtains is a pretty decent song. Childhood's End, Mudmen, & The Golds in The... are my most favorite songs on the album, though I enjoy all the tracks.

obscured by clouds(like all floyd albums in my opinion)is brilliant but the sound of the music sounds completley different to the sound on meddle which seems strange or is it just me?mudmen is a insrumental version of burning bridges.

It's just because it was a very straight forward recording, very different from the usual complexity of the Floyd studio sessions. It was recorded in roughly two weeks actually! That's why it sounds "different" and probably even pretty fresh when compared to other productions.
